Rat Girl

We had a new model!  Yay!  She seemed completely nice and normal.  She disrobed, and lo and behold she had a tattoo of a rat.  It starts just under her breast and goes all the way past her hip.  Yowza!  She also has a pierced nipple.  Wow!  I thought she would have been a bossy talker.  Nope, it turned out that she was the polar opposite.  She was a very quiet, unassuming, still model. What a pleasure she was to paint, and even if it meant having to draw more envelopes.

Speaking of envelopes, I must admit I am seeing my drawings getting better and better.  Maybe I was wrong to want to push through this envelope-business.  It has really helped me and I am now looking at my work completely differently.  Had Ellen not insisted we stick to the consistent practice of drawing those dreaded envelopes,  I would not have learned or grown half as much as I did by end of her course.  Thanks, Ellen for not succumbing to peer pressure.  You are a very good teacher.
