Ellen’s Daughter

I’m back from Arizona and excited to return to Ellen’s class. Before the trip, I thought she’d said that her daughter was done posing – but 15 minutes into my setup, I noticed everyone had brought their paintings of her daughter we were working on two weeks ago – before I left for Arizona! Eek! I didn’t bring mine!

Fortunately, I arrived to class a half-hour early so I was able to zip back home and grab the painting.

Let me just say that Ellen’s daughter was a pleasure to paint. She’s beautiful in a slim dark way, and she’s an artist in her own right.
