Griesing Law Hosts Up and Coming Artist

The Griesing Law practice gives private shows to up-and-coming artists periodically during the year.  Their offices are on the 36th floor of Three Logan Square (formerly the Bell Atlantic Towers) with breathtaking views.  When I arrived at the opening, the spacious suite was filled with wall-to-wall people or should I say, “wall-to-wall attorneys.”  The conservative lawyers were in stark contrast to Anne Milner’s loose and ethereal contemporary paintings.

Cocktails were flowing and the food was going as Anne gave a very moving speech about her background as an adopted child and how it inspired her work.

My current interests lie in representational art.  Nevertheless, I found Anne Milner’s paintings to have a lovely, mysterious and luxurious feeling to them

It was a charming evening full of wine and yummy food in an absolutely spectacular setting.

David Griesing has an interesting blog about working in a more meaningful way.

Shelli Alford is an artist and author, who enjoys learning from master oil painters from around the world and reviewing their classes, workshops and demonstrations.
